- Children up to 19 years old
- Parents or caretaker relatives of children up to 19 years old
- Some 19 and 20-year-olds
- Adults up to age 64 living at or below 138% FPL
- Pregnant women
- Some women with breast and/or cervical cancer
- Adults aged 65 and older
- People with disabilities, including blindness as determined under the Social Security rules
- Some immigrants may be eligible for Medicaid

Food- 3 free meals per day
- Breakfast: 6:15 a.m.–7:15 a.m.
- Lunch: 12:30 p.m.–1:30 p.m.
- Dinner: 6:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.

Those who have successfully completed a Mission program are eligible to receive references and community networking assistance.

Services:
- Shelter - Safe, temporary housing for abused women and their children in a home-like atmosphere.
- Crisis Line - 24-hour telephone line, information and referral.
- Advocacy / Case Management - Information about legal, financial, medical, vocational and housing needs.
- Safety, education, awareness and recreational activities for parent and children
- Community Education - Public speaking and in-service training for organizations, clubs, schools and churches.
- Sojourner House is a safe, confidentially located home for women and their children to stay while they are trying to escape an abusive environment. In addition to offering food and lodging, the shelter provides the women an opportunity to initiate solutions to problems they are experiencing and make positive changes in their lives.

- Assistance available to you and old of every race, sex, and ethnic backround
- Struthers is a community full of caring people who are willing to assist those in need.
Weaknesses:
- Residents are required to travel out of Struthers, though not very far, to have access to any of these programs
- There is no assistance for veterans in Struthers.
- Programs that are available have eligibility requirements.
